GCSE
Each Unit Examination is externally assessed.
Each Unit contributes 16.7% to the final GCSE award.
Unit Examinations are FINAL EXAMINATIONS i.e. all papers have equal weighting and there will be no terminal paper at the end of Year 11.
Students are required to bring a black/blue pen, a pencil, a ruler, an eraser and a calculator to each examination. These items are to be placed in a transparent plastic bag or similar (opaque pencil cases are not allowed in the exam hall).

ALL EXTERNALLY SET KS3 SAT EXAMS HAVE BEEN CANCELLED.
Students will be continually assessed (APP) by staff using a balanced mix of AfL tasks and summative tests (set at the end of each term).
