A big congratulations goes out to Europe House who have won the 2009/10 House Competition. It was a close call and was fought right up to the wire but the students and staff of Europe House have managed to pip Africa House into second place with only 112 points to spare!
However Africa House still gained enough points to win the Summer Competition, so a big congratulations goes out to all the students and staff from Africa House.
Now is the time to start winning points for your house. Americas and Asia come on you need to pull it out of the bag this year and knock Europe out of the top spot.
The next big award is for the Autumn/Winter term and the winners will be announced in the final assembly before Christmas. Will it be your House?

| End of Year Winners | 12:00 AM, Aug 13 2009 |
Africa win the House Trophy for the second year running.A huge cheer for Mr. Riley, Mrs. Whitelaw, Learning Guides, Associate Learning Guides and all the students from Africa House who, for the second year running, have won the whole school House competition. What a tremendous achievement and accolade to have. At the end of the competition they were almost 9,000 points ahead of the next best house, which happened to be Asia. When asked how he felt about the win Mr. Riley Said it was "unbelieveable" and "without the support of all the students and staff from Africa House this couldn't have happened so a big thanks to all those involved!" The gauntlet has well and truly been thrown down now and it is up to all the other students in Americas, Asia and Europe to knock Africa off their top spot and make sure they don't win for a third year in a row. Good luck to you all and let the games begin! |
